looking to upgrade the arsenal of metal music and was looking for some good artist. I dont really care for slow music im looking for straight bad ass solos, fast ass metal. ill settle for something similar to sepultura, cradle of filth, megadeth, or bands similar to darkest hour and All that remains, The Black Dahlia Murder, goaetwhore, napalm death, threat signal etc.:wiggle:

If you like Darkest Hour, you'll like All Will Suffer. basically search for "tough guy hardcore" and you'll find a shitload of bands that sound like darkest hour, its not that hard, they're popular as shit, so there are a lot of nut hangers

hahah, i know those guys (not bragging, charlotte is a small town)

listen to their old band, Prayer for Cleansing (and i guess azazel, but who cares), they basically invented metalcore and the whole NC sound.
If you do listen to azazel and like them, listen to Aria, same lead singer (also friends of mine that hate when i mention their band.

all those bands (save for killswitch, i guess) are sadly beyond their prime, especially ETID, who F'ing sucks it up. Actually, I haven't seen dillinger since i "got out of the game" so they may still rip it up. They did the handful of times i saw them. Hopefully its at a smaller venue (i doubt it is, though), b/c it gets hell of nutty when its a tiny room.

Lamb of God is not the only band that matters lol.

I've kinda stopped listening to "metal" alot though because the Metalcore scene is just to polluted these days and it all sounds the same.

However one Metal band that really impressed me, after seeing them and then hanging out with them was "A Plea for Purging". Awesome riffs and badass songs, but even more badass dudes.

For the past few years I've more been listening to just straight hardcore, and even my band went this direction so it's all good.
