hey all my cousins over on the other side of the state have been working on this beast all winter. It was a shifterkart chassis had a raptor motor on it, and my cousin some how got a free 2006 yamaha r6 motor and rigged it up as you can see here. everything in the project to make this fit was fabbed up by themselves in their garage. pretty serious. in the vid its only runnin in 1-2 gear because there is not enough space. it also is breaking up at higher rpms so they need a tune but i mean this thing will theoretically do way over 100mph when they get it goin right,

I built a side-by-side kart (like the one in the OP's vid) with a few high school buddies based around a Yamaha 426cc dirt bike motor... same setup, basically - chain drive, live rear axle, single disc brake on the rear, twin disc brakes on the front. That thing was pretty sweet, but it was geared down so top of 4th was about 80mph.

The Gixxercart is a cool idea, but then again, what's so great about a kart? Why not have the GSXR block in a GSXR...
