Hey did anyone else hear about this? Rhys Millen was suposed to backflip his trophy drift truck on new years eve to kick off the new year. It was going to be on ESPN, but when I checked it out, it was no where to be found.

Yeah I saw bits of the stunt practice last night at dinner.

It showed him hitting the boxes and then the last scene was where he missed all of the boxes and just blam hit just the concrete.

He wanted to start an extreme drift league with special trophy trucks. He had a blue one set up for demos. The cars would drift then hit jumps in the straight aways.

Sounds like another one of those sports that no regular person would have the resources to practice.

That's why I like drifting, anyone can do it, and someone with a 6K$ car can beat someone with a 60K$ car because it's more about having fun than it is about competition anyway. I've always been attracted to sports like that, such as skating for example, where the other competitors are more like a family, not an enemy.

man that sucks....my girl broke some vertabrae in her back but recovered pretty well....it took her about two weeks to walk and a few months to be totally healed...Id expect the same for him but probably a little longer recovery since hes older
