1990 RX-7 GTU FOR SALE OR FOR TRADE

I want to trade for anything that runs in good condition that is RWD Turbo

anything reliable.

if you do have something, please post or email pics with full mod list.

The goods:

changed oil every 2K miles

the motor has around 85K miles, bought from Lucky 7, and when we did the compression tests done by Lucky7, they were close to perfect.

The passengers seat is ripped, so I have a extra one, you just gotta clean it.

The body has around 171K, well taken cared of.

back seats with seat belts

HKS Air Filter

RE front strut bar (http://www.rx7club.com/showthread.php?t=711876#)

Rear Strut bar

Wedsports ( TRUE 3 piece rims, very very extremely light )
I believe they are 16X9 I got them because they are light and tires are extremely cheap. Chrome polished lip with gold center-piece.

semi-new rear trunk struts. ( I show it to some people sometimes, how it opens by itself, its fun, lol. they are like wow, it still opens, and I go, no, I replaced them, lol)

T2 Aluminum hood

brand new tires all around, their specs are 225/16/50.

Tail-lights tint taken off. you can see from the pics. I get a lot of since its very different, and not many people have them since not a lot of people know how to do it without braking the plastic clips+housings. I AM NOT TALKING SHIT, just so that no one gets offended.

Radiator was just flushed when I did the motor swap

Racing beat headers, AWESOME headers.

Does not overheat, or leak any kinds of fluid. this motor has never overheated.

headlights work just fine.

Dimmer switch for the interior works just fine ( man I had to, sorry )

Manual windows, works fine.

The sunroof works just fine, you just need to give it a slight push, just as we all RX-7 owners how to do it.

The bads:

Cut springs. I do not care what anyone has to say, but it feels a lot better that stock.

Few normal 20 year old car (http://www.rx7club.com/showthread.php?t=711876#) dings, and some minor, minor scratches.

Here is the biggest dent, that cant be noticed easily.

It from the drivers side, back, lower quarter panel.

The hood is in perfect condition, just needs to be repainted.

Haha, some cars that are here in the US came with factory back seats, mot more like a JDM thing. yep, 1st Gens and some some third generations Rx7 came with them. I really want to keep the seats since some cool budy give them to me, but if they are taken off, it looks blank. Oh trust me, they are not just tiny, when someone sits in the back, they usually sit on both seats. Also comes with seatbelts! haha

Well, The back seats were put for the reason of looks, it makes a little more Japanese, and you can throw stuff to the back, not like the Bullshit buckets it comes with.

Yeah, wanted something turbo, not kinda having doubts right now. I am almost certain of picking up a Miata.

car looks great with the wedsports on it....very similar to what i wanted to do with m FC....just not a big fan of the 1990 GTU....the 88 GTU was awesome.....the 1990, not so much....

1990 GTUs FTW <----not plural form of GTU...GTUs is the model only made in 89-90...only 100 made in 1990....

you must add that the GTUs is the lightest Rx7 that ever came out, and straight meant for racing, I mean STRAIGHT OUT!. I think it came with no AC, everything manual, plus LSD. YEp only 100 of them.

yea man...before i got my hatch, i had a 1990 GTUs....fuckin immaculate...no AC, manual everything, LSD, S5 Turbo II wheels....bought it with only 83k on the body, around 30k on the rebuild.....i loved it....then i blew 2 apex seals on the front rotor....

good times..

And then what are you going to do with it?

BTW the apex seals are stock on this motor, but since compression numbers were close to perfect, they should be fine.

I am sure that you over-raped that motor to blow out seals. I mean it was NA right? but fast as FUCK! LIke I said, FASTEST Rx7 made.

Any takers? I am getting a little nervous, can't believe that this kid is actually going to buy my car! guys,
