So I bought so Z Brakes off of someone in the For Sale section. It came with the standard Z Calipers, Rotors, SS Lines, but I noticed it also came with a Master Cylinder. Well I was wanting to upgrade to one anyway and it was a good deal so I could shave off a 100$ or so dollars off my budget if I buy them. Anyway so I bought them and waiting for them to get here.
After they did I started to look at everything to make sure everything was right. I went online to see if I had gotten a Z32 MC or not and I couldn't find any way to tell if this one was a Z32 or not. Then I remembered I didn't really ask him if it was a Z32 or not!
Anyway so I pmed him and he said the person he bought them off said they were Z32 Brakes but he wasn't sure. So I snapped some pictures

I searched for like two hours going through all the threads looking at pictures. Everyone I saw had the size of the MC on it. Well if its a Z32 thats good enough for me I really dont care too much about the sizing of it then. Thanks for fast response and great help!

BM44 = 15/16"
BM50 = 1"
BM57 = 1-1/16" or 17/16"

looks like he has the 1". Not sure but it looks like it doesn't have the middle furrel nut. Get a furrel nut from another tokico and put it in. The nabco one is a different size so it wont really work without modification.

Instead of searching, why not break out a measuring tape?
There's really no way to be wrong if you clearly see what size the bore is right in front of you.

Cant I just do what the 300zx brake swap guide says and
The second option is to remove a fitting from the stock 240 MC and use it in the new MC. The fittings are pressed into the master cylinder and cannot be removed without destroyed the 240's master cylinder. Use a cutting wheel to cut out the small fitting. Be careful not to cut into the fitting.

From my research, nissan used either napco or tokico. I bought a new master from 2 different dealerships and they could only get tokico. It seems that early nissans used mostly napco. What I did is find a tokico from a z31, take out the fitting, and then used the hard line from the clutch bypass to press in the fitting.
I have tried using the napco fitting on my tokico and it just wouldn't want to go in correctly. I have heard some people have done it with out modification, others have done it with modification.
All I am saying is that I used the tokico fitting from the z31 into the new z32 bmc and it fit like a glove.
You can try using your stock bmc but if it looks like it is not seated correctly, then you have another option.

This is true same thing happened to me. I thing the earlier models had mostly the napco.

So where is the best/fastest/cheapest way to find a pos tokico fitting. Do Z31 forums do alot of part outs. I went to the local junk yards and they didn't have any z31s. I have two 240s right now so I'll check them both when I get a chance .. but that wont be soon cause they are both in storage. Its not a huge rush right now since its winter.

I'm pretty sure you don't have to find one out of a z31. It just happens that I found a z31 with a tokico. I'm sure if you found a tokico from a sentra or altima it would all be the same.

The proper name for the other master is Nabco not Napco lol. Do not attempt to use the fitting out of your stock BMC as its machined into the master and is not removable contrary to internet statements. I know because I tried LOL. If you need an adapter fitting you can find them for around $10. Less work and hassle just do your research.
