Ok, since my car is low, i rubbed the harness pretty good and happened to short out my ignition signal wire. Looks like the wire burnt itself out of its heat shrink wrap and is bare wire now. Obviously the car isn't running and i need to fix this single wire.

Suggestions? Helpful comments?

I want to re-route the harness or at least tuck it up better so this doesn't happen again. Im thinking i have to pull my dash out to get better access to everything so i can work on it. Any one else have similar problems? Help! Couldn't find anything when searched.

Brown with white stripe. Can anyone confirm this is ignition signal wire? I think it is because i popped the 30A ignition fuse and the car wont start.

From the interior right next to the fuse box.

The proper way is to remove your dash. Then disconnect the junction box and pull the harness all the way to the front of the car and relocate the harness across the strut tower.

It's a lot of work but it's the best way.

The only thing left to do is to fix that one wire. You can cut out the old wire and solder in a new wire in its place, or put weatherproof heatshrink over the wire to insulate it.

What are you implying, that everybody who opens a store knows everything about everything?

HAHA, you made my day thanks!

Actually we do have a shop here, not just parts. I just wanted to confirm this is the correct method to fixing the problem before i dove knee deep into it. Nothing wrong with that right?
