Hey everyone. I did some test on some manifolds with sand blasting and i noticed that if they get blasted with glass beads they turn gold when they're hot and the best part if that they stay that way. I've done a few of them and so far they have been very steady with the color. I might have not been the only person who found this out but im posting pictures of it...so here it is.

I have a glass bead cabinet, did you do this before the manifold ever came up to temp or after it had already been up to temp?

Yeah looks good. Especially if you've got stains/etc on your mani, a nice all-over gold would be tight.

my old mani did that also. I didn't GB it or anything. My current manifold hasn't changed color at all, except in a few spots that had water on them and then it got hot.

so sand/bead blast them. weld on extra support bracing. Send it off to swain to get TPC treated. insta-fix to cracking problems.

I think it might look good to bead blast the intercooler piping as well...
