Just wondering how many Zilvians are addicted to this damn game. How do you know your addicted?

1. Your arm hurts from playing too long
2. Your knuckles wont pop any more their too worn out
3. You know where you are in the game and what venue's have what songs
4. You get SO pissed when you miss a long holding note, so mad that you cuss and twitch and want to punch your girlfriend (or TV) in the face.... j/k

I don't think I'm addicted, but it's the only game I've been playing since my 360 crapped out on me while playing COD4. I can't get my fix from that game, so I just play GH3, haha

We've already gone through one bass pedal and one guitar we play it so much. GH3 is awesome though, don't get me wrong. I've been a drummer since I was like... 10, so you can see why I like it so much.

Yeah, I've heard that about the guitar too. A lot of our friends are big into GH3 (as well as my fiance) and they say the guitar is a lot easier to use in Rock Band. A lot of our friends that are more into GH say they prefer the GH guitar over the Rock Band one.

I'm guessing because the entire fret is a key instead of the small button on each fret GH uses.

Yea i LOVE rockband, because ive played drums for 7 years....... BUT they dont have it for the Wii which is the only system i have besides ps2 and xbox1 so when rockband comes out for Wii i'll buy it.... I tried some expert songs last night on GH3 and it was SO hard yet non-stop rocking that i got a semi chub..... but welcome to the jungle on hard is the most fun yet!

Also on rockband, the higher frets for solo'ing kick ass, very cool idea.

i just played rockband last night and OMG....that game is awesome!!! I'll buy a 360 for that game alone. I'm a drummer so its nice to finally play a game where i can totally dominate in one specific area.

me last night - "You cant kick me out of the band!!! I AM the band!" hahahaha good times.

I still rock out on GH2 on PS2 tho. The guitar is definitely harder on that one. I can only do a few songs on expert, but on rockband, expert isnt nearly as difficult. I dont have GH3 yet cuz it came out around finals and that would've been a REALLY bad idea to buy it then. I'll be buying in the next week or so.

When games are made, they will use different developing companies for different aspects of the game. Activision has always made GH. They just used different development companies.

+1 to GH3 for having Tom Morello in it. and i think neversoft stepped in and did a great job with the overall game.


i finally played the guitar part of rock band the other night, and was not impressed. perhaps because it was the store Demo, but i was hitting the notes dead on and it was acting as if i missed half of them.

also, on medium i cannot beat the final guy (Lou) on GH3. devil went down to georgia is an insane song!!!!

i'm pissed that they put the Radio Friendly version of "my curse" by killswitch engage on there, it sucks with out the screaming. however, take this life by in flames has been one of my fave songs for awhile and its good to see it in a game....

....as far GH2 goes, i liked the line up, especially the All That Remains song "Six" which is one of their best songs.

When I first got rock band my friends walked down to the basement and thought it was a real guitar. I like how it feels in your hands way better than GH too. The GH guitar looks like a toy. But the flicker thing on the rock band guitar is going out.

I finally got GH3 burned onto my HD.

I've noticed the only songs i really like playing are the bonus songs. A few of em are okay, but bonus songs > the rest.

FCP Remix on Expert or Knights of Cydonia on Hard. Both still kick my ass.

RockBand is a million times more fun when you only use vocals and drums, and then put the guitarist on a real fender strat, not a plastic one.
This only works if the guitarist can actually play guitar.
