i say this in every gauge thread. if you want to save money, buy Autometer. reliable and inexpensive. used by professionals.
...or VDO.

I just searched them and they do look nice. I would say that they are comparable to the STRI upper line gauges.

Nope, I mean the dsd line. It is the one that has the peak and warn functions. The Saga gauges I saw also had those features, and they were around the same price. If Saga makes gauges comparable to the x-line, which are electronic but don't offer the peak/warn, and aren't stepper motor driven, post a link, I am in the market for gauges and would like to see them ;)

I just found that thread too. Good read. What I got out of it is STRI FTW. I was also looking into the prosport, which is similar style, but I guess they are alot cheaper (quality)

thanx for the link WERDdabuilder but i have a question...ive notice that the x-line series doesnt have a air/fuel gauge..is this true?...ive googled it and found nothing...the dsd series does have a air/fuel gauge....is it also available in the x-line or just dsd?

sagas seem to be pretty good. i had a set of swooshes and they were fast and accurate compared to my defis. i just didn't like how they looked.
the sagas i've seen in action have similar movement and way better looks, and of course more features.
bottom line, they are taiwanese wannabe defis. not the best but heading the right direction

Late to this thread, but I used Saga gauges before and they were good. No issues, nice peak/warn features, good price. I'll be using them in the future (boost and water temp). One cool thing is the fan controller add-on for the water temp gauge. It's infinitely adjustable and works well.
