WTT/FS clean 240z for something....

I love this car. Its beautiful and starts every time. I just don't have the time or budget to make it the beast I want. I was looking at an Rb or LS1 for it but school has to come first.

Its a 72 with a carbed L28 and 5 speed transmission. I have the front bumper as well.

I'm asking 5K, but money talks. Willing to trade or work something out.

None that I could find.

I think it could make it there, but I would get it all checked up by my mechanic before a trip that long. He specializes in old Zs, and literally doesn't do anything else.

How many miles?
Miles on tranny/L28 motor?
VIN's match?
Dash uncracked?
Any rust/corrosion under battery tray?
Rust/corrosion under fenders/frame rails?
Mechanical or electronic fuel pump?

Mileage is unknown. The Speedo doesn't work. Of course the VIN isn't going to match on the motor and the car. The 240z came with a L24 and the 280z came with the L28. 2.4 and 2.8 liters, apparently Nissan was creative like that. The dash is cracked but the PO included a dash cap that I haven't installed. An uncracked dash is a rarity in these old cars. The dashes can be refinished rather inexpensively though. The battery tray is clean, and under fenders are too. I believe its a mechanical fuel pump as well.

Might also want to check the floor pans for rust. Very common in the S30.

Gas gauge doesn't work.
Brake Master cylinder is being finicky. It stops but a reman. one might be nice, or even a JY one.
One headlight is out.
