So, I've been pondering.
I know the S-chassis steering rack has more range than the Z32 one. I wanted to get that range back in my Z32 and I was wondering if it would be possible to transfer the steering rack of an S13 or S14, preferably a HICAS S13, into my Z32 to get more steering angle out of my Z. Although there do exist the tie rod end spacer to give me angle in steering, a modded Z32 rack won't have the range of motion a modded S-chassis rack gives. If anyone knows or has any input, it would be greatly appreciated :D

So I found this:

Seems like an S13 steering rack was fit into an R32, which is very similar to a Z32. Anyone have any ideas?

Rock the HICAS rack, do some measurements on mounting points on both racks.
I wanna SAY it'll work, because nissan got lazy, but measure it. Go to a junkyard and try bolting it up

Hmm, the guys on the Z boards are saying the wheel will hit the arms or tension rods or something. Fuck... now I gotta disconnect the tie rod ends from the spindle and move it around myself to see if it'll hit when where it will to see where the problem lies. Having crapping steering angle sucks.

This is way more angle than stock, that's for sure.

No clue, didn't try. I just worked with the stock Z32 rack.
