Pop eye wont came out

well just moving my 240sx (hatch with pop up light) back into garage... and found out that my pop up light wont flip up... i turn the switch on the head light's light on but it wont flip.
1st i though that i had the other switch off, but no... well i can turn on the light and press the other switch to make it flip up = =

anyone know why it doesnt work..??

it could be the fuse, or the motor or the rod that pushes the head light up could be broke. open the hood and look at it.

Its the headlight switch. That happened to me too. I could flip it up using the button and turn on the lights using the headlight switch, but it would flip up the lights. I replaced the motors thinking it was that but it wasnt. I had another switch in my garage and tried it out and it worked. This might help you. I would try it and see what happens. Its a lot cheaper than buying motors and even if it isnt, at least you have a spare.

If you have spare parts try swapping them out. If not do some looking and make sure you replace whats broke instead of wasting $$$ throwing parts at the problem.

Do the headlights come on?

IMO, if both lights come on, but they dont go up, its either the switch or a relay/fuse for the motors. It would be really wierd for both motors to go out at the same time, unless you had a HUGE electical shock of some sort that blew them out. which isn't vary likely

So~ is the headlight switch? i try this morning and it work... weird = = i didnt even do anything...

Check your wires to your motor they may have stripped themselves down to the copper its self and shorted out from touching the metal. Thats what happend to mine one time.

that happend to my freinds mr2, one of his lights would not pop up, it was a pice of plastic holding it in, it had broken off, maybe something was loose and jammed it for a bit
