FS Recaro SR JDM Silvia S13

Hello new member here. I don't own a Nissan but I did end up with a nice JDM Silvia part that I now have no use for and I was wondering if anyone here is interested. Currently I own 2 cars, an 86 MBZ 190e 2.3-16 and an 88 BMW M3. The Recaro SR seat came in the E30 M3 Evo 3 (Sport Evo) and I bought it to hopefully put it in the M3. I have since decided to go with fixed back seats and have no use for it. I bought it from Japan as an S13 Silvia passenger side seat, so it is for the US driver side. I will sell this for $400. Local pickup in Orange County, CA only. I will also trade for a fixed back racing seat, or possibly other racing parts. If you have something that you think either one of my cars could use, let me know and maybe we can make something work. Picture of the seat is below. Seat bracket is included.

JDM passenger = USDM Driver.

USDM Driver = JDM Passenger

I bought it from Japan as an S13 Silvia passenger side seat, so it is for the US passenger side.

Looking at the bottom bracket... It looks like a USDM passenger seat. I could be wrong.

The seat is directly from Japan and is a JDM passnger seat. The confusing portion was a typo and I will attempt to edit that now.

Like I said I am not a Nissan guy, but I have asked on other Nissan forums and other people that I know and they said that it should. From what I was told when I purchased the seat it is from an S13 so if an S13 seat bolts into a 240sx then this should bolt in as well.

Well, I think everyone is looking at the difference in the bracket height. The left side of the bracket is higher, which means it's for our (USDM) passenger side. I'm in OC right now and I'll be glad to show you what I mean on my way up to LA tomorrow.

Wait a minute... Wouldn't it be easy as hell to tell which side it's for just by seeing which side the tilt adjustment's on? While we can't do it from that picture, the OP can since the seat's in his living room.

I didn't realize that a Recaro SR came in a USDM car? What side would the tilt adjustment knob be on if it were a drivers (left side) seat?

So for a drivers side seat you are saying the knob would be on the right side closest to the tranny tunnel?

no if your sitting in the seat and you reach down with you left hand and the knob to adjust the seat is there then it would be a usdm drive side seat if you have to reach down with your right hand it would be a USDM passenger seat. i thought it looked like a passenger seat before i even scroll down to read what everyone said. Okay but what USDM car did the Recaro SR come in? This is not a stock USDM seat, it is a Recaro SR. In the E30 M3 Sport Evo, which the Recaro SR comes stock, the tilt knob is closest to the tranny tunnel on both seats. Beyond this, when I bought this seat I had the opportunity to buy a pair of them but I passed on the other seat because it had much more wear on it from being a drivers seat in Japan.
