im kinda confused.. but is there any reason why my tire on stock s14 se's is rubbing my coilover? tire size is 225/50/16. and i havent messed with the camber at all. i've seen other people run the same tire size with no problems at all.. any ideas?

weird.. because my friend rubbing with her shitty offset Nismo wheels.. and put on stock wheels so she wouldnt rub.

has the car been aligned yet? something could have been thrown off.. highly doubt it but shit happens

OE tire size is 205/55, your wider, shorter 225/50 tire is more square, therefore pressing/bulging out further. The wheel has nothing to do with it.

just give it a lil positive camber to clear...
atleast until you get spacers or new wheels or something.

Shitty offsets meaning 8.5 wide with +25? If so I'm running those rims and previously had coilovers on my old S14 and didn't rub and now I have just springs and still don't rub.

Anyway I agree with everyone else get an alignment and before you leave make sure it doesn't rub and if it does just put some positive camber until it stops, you shouldn't be having that problem with stock rims.

yea i think it was those wheels 18x8.5 +25 i forget, but they rubbed really bad.

Changing the camber wont help, because when u adjust the camber the wheel adjusts with it. Just throw some spacers on it. 5mm should probably do it. Ill let u borrow some if you want. Just hit me up kris.

if you have camber bolts adjust it all the way positive, then adjust camber from with the pillowball mount after that

Do all you fucking retards just spew bullshit to sound cool?? Seriously. Why do people talk if they dont know WHAT IN THE FUCK they are talking about?!

oh... and listen EJ253 and/or oneeightydl2. I'd starty with SMALL spacers. Make sure you have ample thread turns so your wheel doesnt fall off. Or go with eccentric camber bolts. They are like 16 bucks from courtesynissanparts

Or get narrower tires.

205/50's and like a 5mm spacer if you really want to be safe.

i just re-checked courtesy and i believe i am using the ones they listed as 89-94. They ARE SCARY thin in comparison to stock bolts though.
