okay quick question.
if you have a vlsd wouldnt a thick oil say 75-140 be better for locking it and making it more consistent?
sorry for a gay question but im just trying to figure the best oil to use for the time being until i can afford the nismo 2 way:bigok:

the viscous unit is sealed and can't be changed. the oil only lubes the gears. just use whatever is suggested in the owners manual, 75-90 i think.

Yep.
My god, I remember when I changed mine. The stuff that came out was black, thick as molasses, and full of metal sparkles.

I also heard somewhere that you want the thickest oil allowable in the rear end, especially vlsd, because it gets the heat away from the viscous clutch pack. Is that true or am I misinformed? I run Mobile 1 75-90 synthetic anyways.
