HIDs first :rawk:

Hidworld on ebay had some sale for these at $100 bucks shipped, so I was like sheeeeet I'll try them out

Installation was cake, just plug and play

Not really enough space under the hood so I just kinda threw them there and ghetto taped them in place for now. Once I put on the new bumper I'll relocate the ballasts under the headlights

I'll try to get some better pics later... When I flipped on the lights I didn't expect them to be THAT bright, it lit up my entire garage and blinded my dad when he walked out. It has a nice tint of blue to them @ 6000k

Onto the suede, this might not be some people's tastes, but I like it... I think it accents the interior nicely, plus it removes glare during daytime driving :)

First thing I did was buy a real kidskin goat hide:

Making some measurements

Spraying down the adhesive

My car came with the trim pieces already wrapped in a leather vinyl material, including the arm rest. It looked nice but it usually felt too cold and smooth... and I happened to have enough suede material left for it:

Good idea.

I sprayed my headliner black today.

I'm going to suede my center console and my door cards tomorrow now. :rawk:

Those gauges are sex.

Weird, i was talking to my wife about sueding my S13 int and found your post by accident. How or what did you use to tack the underside of the armrest? I'm thinking of doing the whole dash and all the panels so any info would be great. Seriously looks good, thanks for the post

you installed that HID incorrectly. didn't you see the illustration? those are HID turn signals, not headlights.

The cutoff is only going to be as good as the housings they are put in. Trust me, I have HID's in Hella E-Code housings, and it's okay, but still has glare above the cutoff. Retrofitting projectors FTW.

If the cut-off is any good at all then that's not a bad price! Looks good from the pictures anyway. I want suede interior pieces, looks damn good. :yum:

Nope, not today... though, I could use a coffee myself. Ive been up for 24 hours and am dead tired... well, tired enough to not waste my time with this thread.

Its not about caring, whatever I post thats work-related on this forum is for fun - not because I care. Anto, do *you* go out of your way to care for other people that you dont know, that arent asking for advice? Truth of the matter is, its not our business. I'll occasionally post my opinion FOR FUN, but I have little to no interest in talking about work related shit most of the time.

Its funny how you guys equate having a sharp cutoff synonymously with having a top quality light. Just because a light has a sharp cutoff does not automatically make it good. There are numerous other factors that go into play that should be considered.

Where did you pick up your suede? I went to a fabric store yesterday, but only found microsuede. I bought a yard since it was only $4 to test it out. It'll be better than the stock pattern on the door cards at least.

Very inspiring. I flip a lot of cars (not just 240's :P), and am always looking for something interesting to do with the interior that might make it raise the value just a tad. I like the look of the suede in the black interior.

I an't comment on the HID's...

But the suede is sick. I like the spot above the center cluster a whole lot. More installed pics would be appreciated.

Black, black interior makes it so much easier to do suede mods like that. Stupid tan. Looks good.
