Im having a ka24de swapped into my s13 by a local tuner shop and they say my previous harness was burnt up and recommend that i get a new. the only problem with this is that they seem be having a hard time finding one. According to them they say there are 3 different engine bay harnesses for the 91-93 s13. My question is are there infact 3 different harnesses and if so are they interchangable? im trying to find one on my own to speed up the process. my car is a 92. thanks for any replys

The HICAS harness is a bit different due to a couple of extra plugs for the HICAS thing on the lower passenger side frome rail, and the ABS unit.
Other than than, I don't know of any differences, unless the auto and manual harnesses are different.
I'm sure you can use any of the available harnesses, you might end up with extra plugs depending on the harness you get and the chassis you have.
Maybe a wiring guru will chime in to set the record straight.
