Saw these gifs on another website and thought it was kinda funny how between shows they use a similar fight scene.

EDIT: Or maybe it's just Naruto. lol

Thats called lazy animators, key and in-betweeners. I bet if you looked into it a lot of these types of shows use that technique. Real action anime like cowboy bebop use coryographers to work out the scenes rather than just copy frame for frame another sequence.

yup. and on shows that come out in mass volume (see: naruto, one piece), it'd make sense that they're actually using old martial arts movies for key frames.

I think copying/mimicking an old martial arts film is OK. . . But blatantly copying a contemporary work is just lazy.

That's actually not an episode. It's the Cowboy Bebop movie. :bigok:

naruto has like 300 episodes and they release new ones every week i think
kind of hard to choreograph all those
bebop on the other hand is only like 23 episodes or something they worked on it for several years

Definately the case. I was just amazed at how it looks like they just 're-skined' the characters and the backgrounds. LOL

I think that just demonstrates the poor quality of the show. The character design is there but not any kind of story or polish. It reminds me of DBZ, which doesn't surprise me. They have the same publisher.
