Thread from the dead

What's with all the thread from the dead lately? My post count may not be high but I have been lurking here for a while. I have never seen so many old threads brought back as I have in the past week or so. It's like people are searching for the oldest most irrelevant thread and posting unimportant, some times miss, information.

It's one thing to bring back a thread that has relevant info and you can contribute some incite or experience but enough with the dumb comments.

That's a rule now. No more IBTL will be going on.

As fas as threads being bumped, it's OK as long as you actually have something important/informative to contribute to the thread.

It's not a bad thing if old threads are bumped in that case. Hopefully it means the person bumping the thread was using the all-powerful SEARCH button.
