KYB SR Special shocks

I am looking for a set of shocks to go with the springs I got on my car when I bought it. AGX's are great, I had a set on my old car matched with a great set of Hyperco springs. Not really trying to pay that much though, and dont really need the adjustability. GR2's are cheap but not stiff enough for sport springs. Had Tokico blues mated with 97 spec Type R springs on my old DA Integra, they were ok, but dont really want to go that route on my S13.

Ive seen these KYB SR Special shocks on the internet and for sale in the classifieds of forums along with springs from time to time. I gather that they are JDM, and have not seen them for sale stateside. What is the scoop on these shocks? Where would they fall in the range of KYB shocks available in the US? If anyone can tell me where to get them and what they ride like, price, etc., that would be awesome.

just keep in mind if you go this route you'll be more limited to what wheel/tire combo you can run in the front

i had some kyb special some thing or others i got off a ceifro clip one time. they were 4 way adjustable and the strut body was silver. they rode really nice. i bet those ride good , but why spend a lot on some jdm struts and some springs. just spend the same on some coilovers.
