idk guys im still not feelin it....like I said before he sounds too much like hes trying to be a concious rapper...whereas most others just are. He uses a lot of big words and comlex verses like kweli, most def, etc....but if you sit down and read the lyrics his verses arent saying much and the story doesnt carry through the whole song.....like mainstream rappers go from rapping about money to cars to killing someone where as a most def song tells a story through the whole thing (if this makes sense)....lupes songs just dont really do it for me

Everyone's entitled to their opinion. To me, Lupe makes you think about what he's saying and not everyone can just pick up what he's talking about. My favs are "Put you in the game", "Little Weapon", "Gold Watch", and "The Die". His whole album flows together and has the theme of "coolness" and how different people view it. Mad tyte if you ask me. I actually had to listen to "Put you in the game" 3 times to figure out who he was talking about. Once I got it I was like, daaaaaaaaaaang!! That's tyyyyyyyyyyte!

Lupe's got a sick flow, just think his timing when he blew up w/ "kick,push" was a little off, being that's right after pharrel's whole ice cream fanboy skater thing got big, and made lupe look like another rapper attempting to get a skaterboy flow, that's just my opinion. He's got good stuff nontheless.
