I have an oddessy PC625 battery and have never had issues before with it. Just recently, even in the spurt of warm weather we've been having on the east coast It's been losing voltage.

I charged the battery to 12.5V and watched it every few seconds with a multimeter. The voltage dropped by 0.01Volt every 20 seconds, very rapidly, to a point of 11.64Volts, at which point it slowed way way down. I monitored my Subaru outback's battery at the same time and it lost about 0.01Volt every 8 minutes, however was at 12.90V.

I'm thinking this little battery sucks, and either its going bad, or just too much of a wimp. Is it normal for voltage to drain 0.01v every 5-10minutes or is that considered too rapid?

That is not a normal drop, you should be able to leave a car for days with an alarm running and have no issues starting it. Does the battery drain like that if you disconnect it from the car? If it does its a bad battery, if it doesn't it could be a short in the car, or still just a bad battery. You can have it tested at most auto stores.

I actually disconnected it 20minutes ago, I'm going to go check what it is in a few minutes. If it does drop, am i safe to assume the battery is bad?

Edit: checked the battery after it was unplugged, it dropped from 11.64v to 11.63v.

My scooby dropped from 12.89V to 12.82V with the car attached to it. The Subaru had just been run as well so its initial voltage was a little higher, I'm curious if it will drop to about 12V and not drop any more.. Can a battery have an excess amount of voltage that it will just emit, until it levels out?

I'm still having this problem, the little oddessy battery has 11.65V after driving around, and that isnt enough to re-start the damn car. The Afrs at WOT are also leaning out a little too at top end. The car will stay running on just the alternator, and the alternator fuse is fine. Car used to start and run great every time even in the 20deg weather, and now its about 50deg (much warmer) yet it won't even crank.

Is my battery just going to shit or should I be looking for something else?

I've already started making a Frankenstein battery tray from an old metal bumper support off an s13.. its hilarious looking.

Sounds like you need a new battery like the above people said! My friend had an odyssey like yours except his didn't even last long and it wasn't even in a car that was being driven hard or abused (old 80's diesel Mercedes) so maybe you just got a bad one?
