I have a supercharged C5, and before that had a 4spd automatic c5. I averaged 20-22mpg mixed driving of city and fwy, and got 26-30mpg strictly freeway driving with the stock one. Of course the boosted C5 doesn't do nearly as good mixed driving as the other one did. :Ownedd:

There are guys who have gotten over 300k miles out of their C5's with the stock motor and still running strong. The motors are damn near bulletproof.

But damn I so want the new z... :cry:

absolutely love it! wheels are a little big for my taste but they still look sick as hell. ive been for a ride in a h/c c6 z06 that dyno'd at 600whp. let me tell you, hollllyyyy shittttt. your heart just wants to jump out of your chest. for the price, it's one of the best sports cars out on the market.

I was raised to love vettes, my dad owned like half a dozen. I would take a new z-06 vette over ANY car in the world other than a porsche gt-2 or 3 and maaaaaaayyyyyyyyyyybbbbbbeeeee a new GTR. Honestly though the wheels on that one are too big, I wouldn't go past 18's personally. But I really hate big wheels.
