Don't</a> be fooled by the site, they do make kits for the 240SX. Anyone heard anything about these turbo kits? They're way cheaper than their competitors. They don't use cheap-o parts. $2,000 is cheaper than an SR20DET swap. Is there anything missing here? I know it should be a complete kit, but the price just makes it feel as if it's missing a few things. Here's the things that come with the kit.

1) Turbo manifold (header type)
2) T25 Turbo (brand-new AiResearch)
3) All Plumbing
4) Additional injector controller (relay-type), and additional injector
5) Mount for additional injector in intake pipe
6) Down-pipe
7) All hoses for oil (steel braided)/coolant for turbo
8) All clamps, screws, nuts etc...
9) HKS blowoff valve
10) HKS Boost Gauge
11) Extra Inline fuel pump
12) K&amp;N Cone type Air Filter
12) Complete color detailed instructions...8hr approx. install time with hand tools
13) Technical Support 7 days a week

Hmm...sounds very interesting. You'll have to e-mail the site concerning the 240SX kits. In my opinion, I just hate that red powdercoated piping. It looks like some Fisher Price shit. So, what are your thoughts? Too good to be true? Or something that's been proven effective and reliable?

what kind of fuel management is it using? &nbsp;FPR? &nbsp;or is it electronically controlled? Do you mean it includes Injestors? &nbsp;if so what size?

T25 is a prett small turbo.. what kinda boost could you run with that.. max 10 psi??

Also this doesn't include an intercooler.

Would you really actually buy a turbo kit from that site? The whole thing seems ceap/shady. Anyway a few things wrong with the kit.....

1. T25 turbo is really small most &quot;real&quot; kits give you a T3/T4 which is a major improvement over a T25
2. No Intercooler, do I really need to say why this is bad?
3. Even with the &quot;injector controller&quot; (WTF is that) you still have the stock injectors working full time. Most kits have new injectors and come with a JWT ECU (can't beat good ol' JWT)
4. An injector in the intake won't be nearly as reliable in giving the engine the added fuel it need's then bigger injectors would. Also notice they say &quot;mount &nbsp;for additional injector&quot; That means you need to buy an injector and the plumbing and figure out how to make it work with your other injectors.

All in all it would cost you more in the long run then a proven kit.

One would have to be very naive to even consider this &quot;kit&quot; as a reality.
• A T25 turbo is waaay too small for our 2.4L engines.
• That &quot;additional injector&quot; is a band-aid to not using bigger injectors with ECU reprogramming or a decent FMU.
• Would you like to trust your engine's life to a &quot;company&quot; that uses a free AOL page to advertise their product?

And the best thing of all, this page was mentioned a while back over at the FA forums, and since I'm in Miami, I took the liberty to drive to their &quot;shop&quot; to check them out... why wasn't I surprised to find out that the address they put there doesn't exist? That address would be right in the middle of the Doral Golf Course, right above a freakin' pond... need I say more?

The T25 turbo was originally produced to fit a 1.6L engine. You sure you want to bolt that to 2/3 more displacement than it can handle? Stock Eclipse GS-T's (95 up) come with these turbos, and they're out of breath at 5000 rpms. Think of that thing having to feed 400cc more than the 2L the DSM comes with. You'll get this real nice tire burning pull from about 1200-3500 and then it's a slug. If you're that desperate for a cheap turbo kit, build one yourself. As far as this turbo goes, it's little more than a hack job put into production.

If you are incredibly desperate for a cheap turbo, order a manifold from a 240 tuner site and build your own system. If you can find the right exhaust shop, they'll plumb it for you cheaper than dirt. Get a used intercooler, and 50lb injectors, possibly a JET programmed ECU. I believe they offer turbo fuel maps (I could be wrong about that) or get a JWT ecu. But take the advice of your peers, that turbo kit will disappoint you.

I figured there's something terribly wrong about the price and well, the location and the design of the website. &gt;_&lt;

I still like the Nsport turbo kit since it uses a custom turbo that works very well with KA's.

14 psi isnt going to happen out of that turbo on a 2.5L engine....remember that when comparing to a sr20det....see if they'll upgrade to a t3....its sounds like a scam or a very very unreliable kit
