Anyone know how to get around this??
I'm putting a larger turbo and a timer on this car, but the turbo timer and alarm are conflicting.... it wont shut off.... When you take the key out it counts down, then it trys to shut off but the timer just starts over.

The alarm was already installed, I dont know any thing about that.... the TT was also already insatlled on another car, it was just unpluged and pluged in.. I shouldnt have had to change anything.. The TT is an Apexi and the alarm is Viper.

Is the alarms starter kill relay wired in....where are the conctions of the alarm made before the turbo timer as betwwen it and ignition or after tt to the car?

sometimes the ignition wire or what ever you want to call it that laches the starter kill could be interupted....but every installer does alarms diff so if he made spaghetti, that might be where the problem is....what year car did the tt come out of and what did it go into?

Your ignition wire is looped between the TT and the alarm. When the TT shuts it off, the alarm wiring send current back through the circuit around the TT. So the TT is not controlling the ignition wire signal.

I recommending removing both the alarm and the TT and return the ignition switch to stock. Then we'll talk.

upgrade to the Viper 791xv than you'll get turbo timer. 791xv can be had on ebay for $170

i believe on most alarms there is a delay you can do. other thing that might work is auto arming only downdownside is that it wont arm till the turbo timer turns off.

the starter kill wont affect the car once its on.
i would say its the ignition. the turbo timer is keeping the ignition on so the alarm thinks the car is on but your trying to arm it as if the car is off but the car isnt really off.
