So a few mins ago I went to move my car for street cleaning.

I drive the car like once a week, and thats only to move it. Its a 95 s14.

However when I tried to turn the engine it wouldn't start. All I could hear is a hiss sound. Probably starter I'm thinking.

But then every time I attempt to turn the engine, its followed with my alarm going off immediately.

So it goes off a few more times but then the alarm gets confused and now its struggling to go off.

My alarm didn't go off completely but you could still hear the horn making some noise.

I didn't want to annoy the neighbors for much longer so I cut the red wire and the horn stopped. However the alarm is still struggling to go completely off.

Here is as brief as I can make it. If anybody could lend me some advice I'd really appreciate it. Street cleaning tickets here are no joke. I'll have to talk my way out if tickets until I get this problem fixed.

much thanks fellow guys/gals.

^What he said. My understanding of why the alarm goes off: When you turn on the car, the starter takes all the juice from your already dead battery, taking power away from the alarm. Then when you let off the starter, the battery will still have enough power to power the alarm, therefore, it resets the alarm and goes off. It's like when you reconnect or install your battery, the alarm will go off as soon as you connect both positive and negative.
