Steel + Fiberglass/Plastic + Bondo + Heat and Flexing = CRACKS.

So...NO.

The more important question here though is..

Why are you even running those flares?
You're like 6 inches from being close to low and those wheel offsets are not befitting flares.

First off, may I ask why you even put siad flares on..... It seems that the offset on those wheels isn't agressive enough to necessitate fender flares.

Second you don't screw them on they are meant to be riveted.

All in all don't mold them, it will look like trash.

Edit: Above post beat me to it

If you had proper wheels and Silva OEM Fiberglass fenders in front Maybe mold the front, but really its not work it. I had em riveted and they were fine.

Rivet, but only if you need flares. Otherwise they just look silly.

If you are going to run flares at least have wide enough rims and tires to require them. And have fenders cut/clearanced to take full advantage of the space those allow.

its ur car. if u like the over fenders then keep em.

they are right in the fact that you should have them rivoted on not screwed on.....

personally i wouldnt mold them... and that is coming from someone that has molded rear widebody..... i love the way mine looks. but i have full widebody not just flares.....they are right about cracking but if you do it right, you can prevent alot of the cracking......

like i said. i wouldnt mold them. it will look better un molded

but. if you do decide to mold them pm me. ill tell you the best way to do it

the screws that are in them are sheet metal screws and can easily be removed and a rivits can be used, i only used the screws so it makes it easier for them to come off for the time being.

as far as the wheels go i am planning on going wider or with a lower offset, as it sits right now front is 18x9 +12 front and 18x10 +30 rear, i am looking into 18x10.5 +16 or lower in the rear.

the fenders have already been cut and quarters were cut and welded to inner fender.

with those i think you would want to run like 18x10.5 with -16 not +16

the flares look sweet on the front, you should get the wide over fenders for the rear.

in the long run molding is going to be a PITA, just leave it the way it is, exposed screws ftw!

I just hope you used SS or Zinc/nickel coated screws so they dont rust

Yea most likely I will leave it with the screws or change them for aluminum rivets. As far as the material of the screws they are zinc plated I believe but I was planning on powder coating them once I get car painted.

get rid of those overfenders.

buy real zg style overfenders, the ones you have are wack and bubbly looking.

use rivets, not screws.

He never asked any one if he should lose the flares. I don't get why people are so quick to bash on the internet.

If you are going to keep the flares definitely get rivets. If you keep them I would get wheels that at the "proper" offset\width require more room. And don't mold them.

what the fuck....

stop being a ball sack and do what YOU want, no need for a thread like this.

Is your car going to be a track car or a show car? or daily driveable?

no need to be UBER ultra flush if its a daily driver, and there is no real need to be lower than it already is.

I say, paint the car, and use rivets... but leave everything else.. its fine.

wait wait wait... looked at the picture again, lower it 2 inches more, it will look better
