I just finished wiring up a kill switch for the lazy eye look on my 91 S13. Instead of paying for one of those adjustable boxes (which are nice, but cost money) I instead just wired a kill switch to the H/L Return Cont. relay on the driver's side relay box in the engine bay. Now, the headlights go up as normal, but on the way down, I flip the kill swich and they stop dead in their tracks. I remember reading a topic awhile back about how to do this and it sounded like it was going to be much more difficult than it was.

(I did search for the old topic to avoid starting a new one, but could not find it.)

If anyone wants more detailed instructions for the install, please PM me. Later....

And if you don't flip that kill switch, they go down as normal?

Yup. If the kill switch is in the on (circuit closed) position, power is sent as normal to the headlight return relay and the headlight motors close normally. All the switch does is cut power to the return relay hence cutting power to the motors on the downswing. When I flip the switch back on (or closed circuit) and reset the headlights (either by turning them on, then off, or by pushing the stock flip-up button) they go back down normally. Proof-reading my own reply made me go cross-eyed, I hope it makes sense....
