This car is located in Southern California.
i am selling my 90 240sx. As much as i dont want to, it has been a great car but its time to start a new project. I want a coupe instead of a hatch, which is why i am selling this car.
Asking price: $7,000
172,xxx on chassis 62,xxx on motor
Everything on the car is fairly new. it is champion white(honda s2k color) and was painted only a few months ago (i have the receipt for the paint). The swap was done not to long ago as well(have receipt for the swap) and was done by a professional shop, no mickey mouse junk on my car.
the mods are as follows:
-GENUINE JDM vertex kit
-Tien full adjustable coil over suspension
-sr20det redtop full swap inc ECU(62,xxx miles)
-Walbro fuel pump
-venom injectors
-Godspeed intercooler(stealthy jet black finish, not spray painted)with all the piping(cold pipe, hot pipe, elbow etc)
-HKS Sequential BOV
-Megan cat back exhaust
- JDM 180sx tach (9k redline)
-forged rods and pistons (safely running 15lbs boost daily)
-manual boost controller
-stage 2 exedy clutch
-180sx rear diff (Vlsd)
- engine torque damper/rear upper strut bar
- ADR sokudo rims, gold with polished lip(no scuffs or scratches, no road rash, show quality)
-HID headlights
-momo steering wheel + momo hub
-Nismo shift knob
-Kenwood headunit
-autometer boost gauge
Thats all i can think of for right now.
The bad:
there is two things with the body, the rear bumper has a fairly large, yet almost unnoticable crack on the bottom from when my fiance was driving it and popped a curb, can be refiberglassed for fairly cheap.
the front bumper has some scuff marks and a small crack from when someone sideswiped me while the car was parked on the street. the marks can be buffed out, and the crack is so small its insignifigant and can still be refiberglassed or even bondo its so small.
the car was gutted out but i have ALL of the panels. I was in the middle of changing it from the nasty brown interior to the black. the only black panels i am missing is the doors. i still have all the brown including the dash. whoever buys the car will get the panels. I DO NOT HAVE THE GREY SEATS OR THE GREY PANELS FOR THE BACK. it only goes as far as the end of the hatch, the carpet and the speaker panels are brown. but from the speaker panels up is all black excluding the door panels.
The car is all manual, no power locks or windows. and the headliner needs to be replaced. i can have the entire interior done for an extra 300 dollars (this is including the door panels and a custom headliner. I was going to do a nismo suede print on the door panels and the headliner. i can have that done as well as the carpet replaced for 300 through my car club.
Other then that the car is awesome. it runs perfect, was never driven hard or drifted, i have to many tickets to get caught doing stupid things.
i have all receipts for everything, the car was always maintained with oil changes and tuneups.
I know what this car is worth, even with the things that are wrong with it, if you check on craigslist you will see most STOCK looking 240sx's going for 4 or even 6 grand with just an sr20. so i think i am giving a fairly good deal. I CAN WORK ON THE PRICE IF NEED BE, but no low ballers plz.
as i said before the car runs perfect, starts nice with no problems and drives like a champ. the car can run on 15 lbs safely with internals, but i keep it at 8-10 lbs because of gas.
