HAHAH!! Sweet dude! "I don't wanna sound like a queer or nothin...but unicorns KICK ASS!" Reminds me...I need to watch that again sometime soon.

Not to stray from the topic too much. I wouldn't waste your money on Tokico shocks...If you want a damn nice shock for the money the KYB AGX's are 399.00 for the whole set from www.stranoparts.com They have I think 3 sets left now...they're on the specials page.

As for springs, the cheapest your gonna spend is probably around 200 or so. I'd go with either Eibach or H&R.

So how much would the average total setup be for springs and shocks? Why not just go with coilovers...?

Hi guys, its me again, just wanna ask a question, i'm planning to convert my S14a to S14b.

Now the question is, what do i do with my entire S14a front end after i convert it?

Can anyone give me some idea? (other than the thrash can)

Minor technicality. . . S14a is new style, S14 is old style (kouki and zenki, respectively) anyway... What I'd personally wanna do with that front end, if I had an S13... would be to slap that on the front of that car. I haven't seen a pic of it in awhile, but the zenki S14 front end looks incredible on the 180sx. The lines flow well with the rest of the car... You need fenders though, so you might have to throw the fenders away.. I think MASA makes S13 fenders if anyone is interested.

Anyway.... What I'd do with the fenders? I'd find someone with an S14, kick the fenders... then leave a note on the windshield "Hey, noticed you have some dents... please call me ###-####, I can help" And yes, I'm joking.. I can't believe on this forum I have to explain that lol

Okay, fine anyway.. back to topic.

I can't tell you what setup to get, personally... I LOVE the Tein coilover (can't remember model)... Coilovers in general are the best route, provided it's not from some crap domestic company.

The route I'm going is this: HKS super form springs (1" drop), KYB AGX shocks (finally for S14 now.. could never afford GAB), Suspension techniques sway bars, and cusco strut tower bars... The reason why? I'm too cheap and impatient to wait till I have the money for coilovers, and I want to minimize the adjustability, cause I'd always be fucking with it. Reason for 1" drop... it snows a lot here sometimes, and I can barely move as is.
