It would be very hard to do yourself and make it look the way it use to.

I'd just say take it to a wheel repair shop and get it done professionally.

Lol did i mention its xmas time and im tight on money? Haha im handy with my hands so i was wondering if theres anything.

these rims are only 100$ with no tires, 4 15inch meshies, just bad curbage so i am going to use em as my mess rims that i can drift, just mess around with.

If there just your mess around/drift rims. Why do you care if there is curbage.

If you have to ask, you probably should take it to someone. Otherwise, I've seen write-ups on autopia I believe and there are also some writeups if you search on google where they're fixing motorcycle rims. Should be the same for car wheels though.

Quoted for truth! It isn't something one would want to take on without training.

koukimonster right! Start with whatever grit you need to get the curbage out, and then go up in grits then to wetsand to danm near glass, then polish the hell outa that, usualy when doing a whole lip, this process may take a day per wheel!

for big blemishes, Ill use an 80 grit to get the deep scratches out(only use this on the problem areas, not the whole rim!), then 120, 220, 320(good starting point on non blemished areas if theres slight imperfections), 600 wet, 1500 wet(start here if rims just need some cleaning up and have already been polished), 3000 wet pad(with air sander), then move on to some rouge, if i dont have any layin around that day, Ill just go right to polishing, usualy start with mothers regualr, then for final move to mothers billet!

The key is to take each grits sanding marks out till you get to no scratches and one hella smooth surface, then polish the hell outa that thing till you can see yourself in it better than any mirror youve looked into before! Good luck!
