So randomly, yesterday morning i was getting this crazy vibration coming from the same area as my blower motor, and would get worse for each fan speed. So being that i didnt have any time yesterday to check into it. I just didnt use my heater...needless to say that it fucking sucked all day long and i was freezing my ass off when i got out of school (10 pm).
So today i pull apart the blower motor to see what was going on with it. As soon as i popped it open i found the culprit of the vibration/noise.

Sorry for the phone picture.
The card is about 2"x4" and i have no clue how it got in there. And i know its old because i know where this bar is...and it has not been at the listed address for quite a few years. I've had my car for almost 5 years and yesterday was the first time my blower had made any sort of noise. So im not sure how long this has been in there, but im really curious to know how it got in there.
I thought it was pretty interesting.

we were rebuilding an old ss a few years back. got it finished, drove it for a few weeks with this fucked up rattle. tore it apart, re-tightened everything and put it back together.
drove it a few more weeks with a fucked up rattle, so we tore it down to a bare shell and probed every nook&cranny of that motherfucker.
last place we checked (naturally) there was a soda bottle with some gravel and note inside reading "how long did it take you to find this?"
That happened to my dad's car but with a mouse.
Ever see what a mouse put through a centrifuge looks like?

It was sitting in the glovebox at one point, and when the recirculation motor was opened it got sucked out and into the blower. Very common issue.

I had a feeling it could have been sucked through the glove box, but i've never really looked into the entire ac/vent system so i wasnt sure if there was a way for it to have been sucked through.
Thanks for the info though!

i work at an auto shop and one time a guy came in in a mid 90's maxima, complaining that he came out in the morning and his fan stopped. so i'm upside down under the dash pulling the fan motor out, and a fucking rat fell on my head. the body was 8 fucking inches long. and it was fresh too. yuk.

When we picked up my dad's polara, it was home to mice(for a good 20-30 years) So you can imagine the piles of shit and everything else we had to clean out(stripped everything and bleached the car)

i would prefer a rat-free working environment. mice suck ass. they like to chew on shit. and shit on shit. i know people who live in the yosemite ares and they hafta basically block off all access to the engine bay with chicken wire to keep "varmits" as they call em, from climbing inside and nesting on warm engines and chewing shit up.
