I was high last night wrenching on my s13 and started wondering what it would take to make a my ka24e run on ethenol? I am sure the horsey's would be around 300. And if a single cam n/a ka ran 300hp, what kind of power could you get out of a turbo sr?

Im pretty sure using alcohol on a stock ka24e wont get you anywhere near 300hp. Exactly how high were/are you?

If your serious, you probably coould. Get the head milled and new high compression pistons so your at about 13:1. The cam it, intake, exhaust and everything. The basic equation is about double the horsepower and double the fuel needed if you go to Eth. However, your problem is gonna be the ECU and fuel system. Totally re-worked system. HUGE pupe and injectors, remapping. Probably have to go with a stand-alone.
