I just bought one of those E-Brake Spin Knob and when I tried installing it, the knob feels tight to go over the button; is this normal? If I force it in, it seems that I wont be able to lock it in place by pushing it forward since it is tight.

Yes, it should be tight.

If the knob doesn't fit tight on the button, It will slip and then you can't pull the button out for locking.

I've made 2 "test" pieces so far. I've only got enough aluminum for one more.

I'll have to buy some more round. I have to replace my e-brake handle so I'll do that this weekend and let you guys know how they turn out.

You've already un-bent the tabs to release the spring, right?

If so, then just push it into place. You may need to trim the ebake boot to fit around the new button.

You won't have to trim for the NEMESIS knob!

Its got a wall thickness of barely 0.031" or 0.8mm

Nice.

I picked up one a while ago. I just like it because the ebrake doesn't go "click-click-click-click-click-click" now. :keke:
