i found out that my radiator hoses are cracked and need to get em replace. can anyone give me some advice on how easy/hard it is to replace them? i went to the local garage and they told me it was going to take 2 hours to change... thanks for any help you guys can give me.

it's not hard at all, do it yourself, use a 10mm socket or a phillips screwdriver to remove clamps and carefully push the hose side to side to bread the bead from the hose to the radiatior, top hose should take you 5 min, the lower hose will take a bit longer maybe 10 min. shop's will always over estimate on the time, cause shit does happen somtimes and a 15 minute job turns into a 2hr job. DO NOT FORGET to bleed the cooling system after installing the new hoses. add 50/50 coolant/water.

You need an upper and lower radiator hose, which I would recommened getting from the dealer. I bought the ones for my Z32 from Courtesy Nissan for about $22 each. The 240sx hoses shouldn't be much different in price. Call em up and ask. 1.800.527.1909
