Damn rattling noise!!

Just recently i started hearing rattling noises right infront of the dashboard.... its the sound that makes when you turn on the heater and it makes like a rattling/bubbling sound, except this sound is louder and keeps going... but only sometimes.  Do you think its my heater?  i tried turning the heater off and it still there.

i have an s13 and my defroster vents are loose so they rattle when i rev over 3500 or so
i think my speedo needle or tach needle is loose too because it rattles at high revs as well
my car is falling apart or at least coming loose =/

aahhhh.... fix it!! thats what we can do..... man, i thought i had at least 20,000km before i get my first problem. &nbsp;

i got the same problem on my s14, #### it's annoying.

I fixed it!! &nbsp;it wasnt the speed/tachometers or the defroster... it was the #### heat shield underneath the car the whole time. &nbsp;that thing was like torn apart..... check yours, it could be the same problem.
