Am I the only person on this entire board that HATES black and gunmetal rims?

No offence, they are nice rims, but I personally hate the black color... from a distance it just looks like you have no rims at all, or put on winter beaters.

Once again, no offence, if you like them, thats all that matters.

I personally dont like black either, but gunmetal, is nice... I like your rims ADVANS..... but I hear they are easily bent... it is tru that from a distance, they look kinda like no rims...

Thanks guys. <img src="http://www.zilvia.net/f/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/smile.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':)'> I got these Advans from a local wheel shop called "ALTA" They specialize in hard-to-find Japanese rims.(Magnesium Volks, Work, Manary sport....) The wheels are 17X8 and 17X9 and +32 +35 offset.
I had the silver Super Advans before but I decided to switch out with these because I really like the color of the wheels.
I understand that MOST people will not like the 3-spoke rims because they think it's ugly. <img src="http://www.zilvia.net/f/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/smile.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':)'> hell, I said the same thing when I first saw athe Super Advans 2 years ago. I think alot of Zilvia.net members have a good taste in rims so I decided to post my pics here.
Anyway, thanks for all the kind words and I definetly post more pics when I get the Bomex front bumper in mid October.
BTW, don't ask me how much I paid for the rims- It brings back memories of me eating ramen for 8 months so I could buy the rims. <img src="http://www.zilvia.net/f/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/wink.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=';)'>

man i hate you! u have my setup 17x8 17x9!! black with red trim!! jk i really dont hate u. im juss jealous. the first time i saw those rims, i fell in love with them. i showed many ppl and they fell in love with them too! man cant go wrong with Advan 3 spoke. i also love the Advan AVS lovely

For example I had this one guy saying "I hate 3 spoke rims, and I think the black rim look ugly too. You just mix them together, it's fgly" <img src="http://www.zilvia.net/f/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/sigh.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':rolleyes:'>
Anyway, it's cool though- I don't really care about the haters.

I used to hate 3 spoke rims, but then after a while I began to love them. I still prefer the typhoons over the Advans, but Advans look really nice. I would love to get some on a black car with a blue lip.

I would also love to see some typhoons with colored lips.

For those who say that black rims look ugly, I love black rims especially on black cars. It gives the car a really stealthy look. I don't really like black rims on cars other than black, unless they have a matching lip, then it has a cool effect when rolling.

Get some more shots of your car, with a little more light on those rims, can barely see the lip in the pics. &nbsp;Also another thing that would make yoru car look nice is color matching your calipers

Extremely Nice! &nbsp;You know, what people that aren't in the racing world don't know is, Those are actually a wonderful rim. &nbsp;I'm sure that they are very light and wide (as you can see from the $100 bill). &nbsp;Get the coilovers and you'll be fine. &nbsp;I don't think that you should put a kit on that car, &nbsp;It looks way to good without one. &nbsp;And to answer a couple of people's question, from a distance, you CAN tell there is a rim there. &nbsp;You can see the red lip.
