I have looked around and I don't find OVER SIZE alternators anywhere... Am I able to just rip one outa a big truck and mount it? I don't know if they are unaversial.. or not?

Or would a few of those Power punch capasitors fix my problem?

Thanks for info. If I get any. &nbsp;<img src="http://www.zilvia.net/f/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/confused.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt='???'>

DUnno where to get an aftermarket alternator, but I do know caps won't solve your problem. If your electrical system can't sustain your car's vital functions and sound system, you need to upgrade the alternator. Capacitors are essentially batteries. They store power for big bass hits or other times when the system needs a lot of power. They don't actually provide additional power.

You can take your car to a shop and have it re-wound, and you can get more amperage out of it.

Try going to a stereo shop...they can usually order/rebuild you a high power alternator. My friend had his alternator go out on his Sentra, and Nissan wanted an arm and a leg for a new stock one....so he checked out some stereo shops...and they got him a nice, high power, chromed one.

A capacitor stores amperage when the system isn't using it, so that would be your cheapest upgrade. &nbsp; It stores power almost constantly. &nbsp; No need to get the alt rewound.
