Bakersfield is like 3 hours from LA.

I have one $20 as well, located in Costa Mesa (or anaheim hills if you want). I drive back and forth so which ever is best for you.

any local around so cal area have a spare alternator they can sell?i have about three different one. from 89-90 and 91-94. i mixed them up and i can't tell which one to which one but if you do it $20. im about 15 min away from you. off the 60 and 605 freeways.
