no pressure on clutch pedal

I've just changed the clutch and the slave cylinder on my car and was about to bleed the clutch when I noticed there's no pressure on the clutch pedal. Since it's my first time doing this, I thought it's normal so I did what the chilton manual said and bleeded the clutch for about 30 minutes. There was no more air bubbles coming out but the clutch pedal has no pressre.
Any one ever had this problem?
Is it because I'm not bleeding the clutch correctly?

There won't be pressure on it unless there is pressure on the clutch fluid. It doesn't spring back like your brakes do, you need to pull it back up when bleeding it. Here, the spring-back action only comes from the clutch springs.

Then how do you know if you bleeded correctly?
So I just bleed it until there's no more air and that's it, even if it it doesn't come back up by it self.
Really! Let me try that.
Oh yeah, do you bleed after I put in the tranny fluid or it doesn't matter?

i had a problem too when i finished installing my sr.  one friend told me to remove the block that is fed by the clutch master, and just bend the line coming out from the m/c to the slave cylinder directly.  try to bend the line as carefully as you can.  also try not to strip the threads on the nut going into the slave cylinder.  that loop is there to prevent chatter in the clutch.  i never noticed anything  at all without that block there.  i spent a good 3 DAYS trying to figure out what was wrong.  used a hand vacuum pump and all.  the only easy way to bleed it with that block is to use a air assisted power vacuum bleeder.  also the car has to be level.  let us know how it comes along.

Erm, I've bled my clutch and it weren't that hard <img src="http://www.zilvia.net/f/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/tounge.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':p'>

Anyhow, you bleed it till the fluid is clean, and untill the pedal feels right. Once there's fluid in all the lines, it will spring back as you would expect it.
