no

also, im fairly certain if you use the s15 trans you also have to use the driveshaft and diff as well. At least to have a speedo. If you have mid-high HP goals you prolly wouldnt want the 6sp anyways. They weak like pree-teen girl

if you want a V6 and a six speed, get a VQ setup.

here's a tip to help you and make you look less like a noobie, lay off the bold and oversized text. it's really annoying, especially on something that doesn't need any emphasis at all.

^^^^^This man speaks the truth

no it won't work

just out of curiosity, where did you come up with putting an S15 6speed tranny on a VG30

Wont work. And no, the VQ t-speed wont work either. One guy made an adapter to mate the VQ tranny to his VG. He's over $1k in the hole because of it. Not worth it.

you want to replace Z32 trans - which is beefy as hell with a weak ass S15 6speed????

lol... thanks guys... i got the idea thinking that the bell housings were similar. i remember some jackhole telling me that. i don't know why i listen to stupid people... anyways for that s15 6-speed, i would have went with the one engineered by nismo with it's strengthened internals and shortened gear ratios. perfect for high speed endurance runs( nevada speed challenges)... always good fun...(nevada gambler's run-120 mile highway with long straights and tight mountain road turns)

Want a good strong Nissan tranny? 97 spec JDM TT Z32 tranny. All the Z32 guys upgrade to that tranny since it's the updated version of the ones already in our Z32s. Stronger internals and synchros. Can be had for a little over 2k, which isn't that bad for a brand spanking new tranny.

nice...^^^^^i'll keep that in mind. but more than likely i'll just swap in a rb25det. i've had that in mind as a better choice anyways. keep in mind that this is going into an infiniti m30, also known as a nissan leopard in japan or an r31 skyline in other countries. originally equipped with a vg30e.

VG tranny bolts up to the RB. It's just a matter of swapping bellhousings.

R31 and the Leopard are two different cars on two seperate chasis... Even in Japan you can't find shit for both cars so why bother? Waste of time unless you feel like swapping everything over to that of another car and in the end you'll end up with too much money spent on something that's not even finished.

M30 has shitty trailing arm suspension.
Don't waste your time.
Zoltec welded up his S13 subframe to make it better, but its still not running.

Yes, I know. But I'm also letting you know that if you want a stronger tranny, you can swap over the new 97 spec VG tranny to the RB. It's just a matter of swapping bell housings.
