So, let's say someone has an SAFC and Wideband sensor laying around.

Would it be beneficial to run an SAFC and Wideband sensor on a stock KA to tune it for more fuel mileage?

I know that stock KA's run rich, so in theory, it would be possible to run an SAFC and wideband to tune for a more stoichiometric mixture, resulting in a small power & gas mileage gain, right? Am I missing something?

Well probably a little, because itll improve the injection part of the combustion, but you still have an issue if you have bad coilpack, sparkplugs, dizzy etc. I think good gas mileage comes with very very accurate combustions. Thats my questionable two cents.

If you do all that and plan on driving like a grandma, then maybe. Otherwise, You may save like 0.01lbs/hr flow rate of gas, which may not be noticeable. Just make sure your not misfiring, you're timing is correct, and etc. I'd wait till you went turbo, or whatever your plans are.
