any difference between fat and skinny o2 besides the size, can i use the fat type on my red top i lost the adapter for my gready elbow. do they give off the same signal and can the ecu understand bolth types..skinny is for red and fat for black..will it work vise versa............thanks. also tried to hook up air fuel gauge and it dont work right could the o2 be crapping out. volt meter was showing realy low numbers for the o2.

how were you testing the o2 with the volt meter?
also most fat 02 sensors are wide band 02 sensors and they do give off a different reading. most air fuel gauges dont work they either show lean or rich and it is because you use a non wide band o2 to get the reading if you want a good reading your going to have to go with an expessive unit like the aem wideband air fuel meter but it will cost you.

A/F needs a wideband. Otherwise it can only show lean or rich.

Narrowband comes in fatty or skinny. Either will work. Read the link and learn to search.
