hey guys i just did my z32 brakes up front. i was told i have 30mm. i bought pads at my local pepboys and they only had 1 version. i asked if there was turbo pads but he told me there is only one kind. i knew that was wrong but i brushed it off. now with it installed, i can see where the pads are rubbing. like so:

the parts guy was right, there's only one pad. what's rubbing, the outer edge? it's hard to tell. maybe the pad isn't seated properly.

theres only one type of pad? interesting.
well in the picture, there is a section that is not receiving the sweep of the pad. arent the pads supposed to be the entire width of the rotor?

Yeah there is only 1 type of pads like CDLONG said. No they look like they are seated correctly. It doesn't use up the whole suface of the rotors if thats what your asking.

Yup I second that, it never uses up the whole surface of the rotor...

Cant really see it, but they ar eall the same... it all in the make of the pad, if you had got some better pads the will fill in more.

I searched forever.... (being a vendor makes it easy) I looked at about 45 diffrent kinda pads. I like the Bendix import ceramic. They have more surface area than most, and are only about $55.... Or you can get some EBC or Hawk for about $80-$110. But that is the way your should fit.
