well, today i was leaving from work and my check engine light flipped on so i took it down to my mechanic. &nbsp; He read the ecu code and it said that I had a cylinder misfire while goin like 8mph at 2krpm. &nbsp; He just told me that 91 octane might be too much for the engine and to try 89 the next time i fill up and to let him know if the code comes up again. &nbsp; Are there any other dangers that could be lurking around the corner from this problem, because i only have 50k miles on the engine... could it just be the octane? Thanks in advance. <img src="http://www.zilvia.net/f/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/thumbs-up.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=''>

well it wouldnt really hurt it but it is possible. it is just not firing in that cylinder so it shuts off.

might want to change your spark plugs and wires.

I strongly second that.
