Just joined up, been browsing several other 240 forums as well trying to gather as much info as possible. It appears I've still got quite a bit of reading to do :)
I built a pretty fun street car last winter.....comprised of a Z32 that I've owned for the last ~6 years. RB26 powered and Garret GT42 inducted, its making 680rwhp @ 24psi........havent had a good clean pass at the track, but its definately a fun car.
I joined up because I am in the process of building a torque beast.....AKA ls1 powered S13. I have already obtained the engine, and I just got a text message about 20 mins ago saying my transmission had arrived :)
I dont figure the swap will be too hard to do, as I've quite a large amount of experience, especially in the hybrid world, however I have come here to research on what all Z32 parts I can use on my S13.
Earlier this year I acquired a wrecked 300ZX TT for pretty cheap. I completely stripped all of its parts, and now in my basement I have EVERY last suspension/brake/engine component that was on the car. From what I have read, I would like to swap over to the Z32 knuckles so that I can throw my 5-lug wheels on the S13. I believe the rear setup bolts in, however I havent read enough to be certain.
