Ok guys, during installation of my hub i notice a couple contact points on my 91 240sx HB (LE version) I was wondering if anyone else had this problem where there power steering would stop working... i have no idea why its doing this... after i installed my stock wheel back on, the power steering worked!... pretty amazing... any takes?

Maybe you tightened the nut down on the hub too much or something.
Your powersteering works on a set of pumps and stuff, the hub electrical contacts have NOTHING to do with that.

The hub doesnt even affect power steering.........
Edit: damn little late.... Well maybe you need power steering fluid

yeah man check clearance or something, maybe the bolt is binding up?
That peculiar one should not effect the other.

yeah this is the first time i've heard of anyone having this problem, i mean i've got a worksbell hub and the only thing that i noticed is a rubbing sound, when going to full lock

Bingo.
HICAS. The unit isn't getting a signal anymore since the OE hub has been removed, so it's canceling the rear rack completely.

I dont remember having hicas... i looked at the rear subframe and didn't see the hicas module... Anyways... i know what you guys are saying about the P/S being ran by the pump and what not... but believe it or not, it stops working after you change the steering wheel to the after market hub...
