People usually feel pretty strongly about their favorite stand up comedians so I was wondering who everyone liked. I realize its tough to pick just one like movies or anything else so lets go with top 3. If you post more than three you are not good at following directions.

I think most everyone would agree that alot of jokes have been told by many different comics. I think the difference, (atleast with Mencia) is that he doesn't take an existing joke and make it his own, he repeats it like word for word. There are alot of examples of this, I think you can find em on youtube. Joe Rogan has brought it up in some of his sets too.

I think some of Dane Cook's stuff is funny ("Somebody shit on the coats!!!"), but I also think he is seriously overrated.

And Robin Williams is hysterical, with the kind of comic brilliance that can only be had by snorting copious amounts of high-grade cocaine.

I've never laughed at anything Margaret Cho's ever said. Ever. "Hi, I'm Korean, isn't that fucking hilarious?!!!" Race-related jokes can be funny, sure, but if that's your entire routine, then you're not a comedian, you're a fucking gimmick. Gimmicks pay, though, which is why Mencia has his own TV show.
