Agh I feel proud to be a chevy man sometimes. I have drove a handful of vettes and I have to say the base C6 LS2 feels good, 3190lbs and 405hp 6spd 6.0 agh skeet skeet. Have not drove a C6 ZO6 but I can just imagine...

This makes me want to explore a V8 project. Something along the lines of twin turbo LS7 or this thing with some extra oomph. Something about these engines makes me want to make something do wheelies.
