yeah dude, no sense in having e-manage with stock turbo/injectors...you already got this far with upgraded turbo, engine management, and injectors. EITHER search tons and street tune and dick around, there are many tuners on this board that will give you tuning advice for free, and some are worthy of paying for advice. ask around, and please don't fuckin downgrade.

Pick one, install it along with a larger maf and injectors, and be happy :D

If you don't want to tune right now you can run the t28 on stock injectors at around 9lbs of boost max, and you wont have any sputter problems. I have a t28 with stock ecu, and stock injectors, running 9lbs of boost with no problems on my s13 blacktop.

Hell you can run 1.2 Bar on stock injectors and ECU, Im runing that right now with no problems DD 1.0bar WOT 1.2bar, I've been spanking GT's,S2000's, and Fire Bird TA's (LS1), No Sputter or bogging.

what did you do with them?
300ZX TT Injectors are the same
as for Boost just connect your W/G directly to your Throttle body, You'll Boost less than stock though,

I would rally like to see 18 psi on a t28 on a stock ecu/injector/maf car lasting long or running well at all.
You're beating up on 14 second cars, which is possible with a t25 and a stock setup with the boost cranked.
370's are only good for 250-260 AT MOST whp IMO. I'd really like to see a datalog of your car to check MAF voltage and duty cycle.

My friends doing it on his, his turbos fine, his tune is set up for 18psi, But he has Z32, and 550's,
Turbo's fine all im saying

umm try 13's for that Fire Bird TA, and Ive havent seen a stock SR beat and S2K with Mods

I did with my PFC Hooked up at one point Injector Duty cycle at 1.0bar-ish is 60% I forgot MAF volatage though

Turbo is fine there yes, and he has the basic mods to work with it.
umm try 13's for that Fire Bird TA,
High 13's are possible, but most normal drivers you'll meet are at the 14.0-14.2 stage. I need to no lecture, my best friend has pretty run of the mill 700 hp LS1 setup, I've tinkered with it enough, and know what they do stock to modded.
[qute] and Ive havent seen a stock SR beat and S2K with Mods[/quote] I've seen it quite often. Different areas I guess?

Yeah, he put down 305 to the wheels and last time we raced eachother I was holding right next to him @ .8 - 1.0 Bar, But he's running Stock Engine Internals with Bolt-On's

Maybe drivers? Although Theres only one guy here in town with a stock SR, (out of 4 of us, pretty sad huh?) But I think My friends S2K would beat him.

Yeah last time I had it hooked up, I was checking my sensors and making sure I wasnt maxing anything out.
get a power FC :) and tune that bad boy!
I have one, Im waiting until I come Back from Okinawa, I hoping to find a TD06 or somthing close at Upgarage, and some Cam's, then I'll throw on the PFC and Tune it

You're claiming that you're equal a 300hp t28 car with your t25 car? Or what am I missing.
But I think My friends S2K would beat him.

we have a nice tuner here in Arizona (CG Tuning) get a z32 MAF and 550cc+inj and stock t25 and he will tune it for 21.5psi LOL AMAZING mid range TQ and power, put about 260-270whp on that set up
im gonna do the same except with a t28 and should be over 300 if i squeeze!

Tune the engine controller for what's installed on the engine. Less powerful parts with a good tune will beat more powerful part with a crappy tune.

lmao damn this thread flipped around pretty fast.Sadly i dont have any of the stock components cause the guy sold the car to me with the SR set up like it is and, didn't have the stock injectors or turbo.I'm a little skeptical of the whole enthalpy tune so i think i might just go to a local performance shop and see if they specialize in the Greddy E manage Ultimate. So im trying to analyze my choices wisely.Trying to figure out a way to just get the car running without having that problem lurking around and not worry about hurting the engine and keeping it at a reliable level. Will the SR be able to handle all the parts that were thrown on it with a good tune?It has stock internals even stock head studs and gasket.
welll running your stock ECU with 550's will make you car run rich as hell, and depending on how long you run it like that you may end up burnning up the Piston rings, But go with the E-Manage cuz injectors will cost you close to that so you might as well spring for the tune, and get a few more ponies in the process
but yeah MAF should be fine, H/G and Studs will be fine, and internals can take it, A stock SR bottom end can take a beating I think 500 HP is the most Ive heard so far

lol if you run 14's in an ls1 f-body your doing something awful wrong.
11 psi from a T28 towards redline will max out the stock MAF, I've datalogged this on my personal car, after that the car will run like absolute ass.
You need bigger injectors and an N62 MAF.
Shame decent ROM tunes costs as much as they do...

well im running mine at 1.2 bar WOT, and I have no Problems, no sputter or bogg at all, Ive even had boost spikes 1.5 bar for a few seconds still pulled good.

Wait...60% duty cycle on stock 370cc injectors with a T28 boosting to 1.2 bars? I smell alot of bullshiet in this fucking thread...370cc at a potentially 270-280hp will be pushing at max capacity.

1.0 bar was 60% ish No bullshit here man, Im just going off my PFC.
But WOT 1.2 Bar with no bogg or sputter.
But my Engine anit stock though either, besides ECU, MAF, Injectors
Ive been trying to get the damn thing dyno'd but there are none around here in top of Lousiana, Except Dallas .

All imma say is 370cc with a T28 at 1bar wont push the injectors just to 60%. Ive seen this setup push stock injectors to 99% duty cycle. Also, just cuz your car isnt bogging or sputtering doesnt mean your not running lean.

completely agree, no way 60% with 370's at 1 bar, a t25 at 1 bar is well over 60% dc

well I'll hook the PFC back up and run it again and see whats happen.
if it is runnin lean its minimal I've never see in change in temp or have a Glowin Mainifold.
If I didnt think it was safe I wouldnt run it, I put too much time and money into that Engine so im not gonna risk blowing it up.

That's pretty unbelievable. My 525cc injectors hit mid 80% duty cycle at 18 psi on my GT28R, and 22 psi spikes don't sound very healthy either. I've hit 20 psi here and there getting a little overzealous with the boost controller, but definitely wouldn't want to go higher.

Like I said Im going off what my PFC was reading, But Ill hook it up this weekend again and do a few pulls and see whats she's
reading.
Sure cuz your running a bigger turbo that will push a larger volume of air than mine so it will require more fuel.
I know, the Boost spikes were due to crappy silicone hoses, I corrected that problem.
GT28R = S15/S14 T28 = GT2560R
All the same thing, just using the old name for it.
